   5 mksmbpasswd cat /etc/passwd | /usr/sbin/mksmbpasswd > /etc/samba/smbpasswd

   8 should be used only once, the first time Samba is installed. The idea
   9 is to ease accounts creation by transferring all user accounts from
  10 /etc/passwd to /etc/samba/smbpasswd.

  12 Please note that passwords are not transferred automatically from
  13 /etc/passwd to the new /etc/samba/smbpasswd file. After running
  14 .B mksmbpasswd
  15 all accounts are disabled so the system administrator must run
  16 smbpasswd for each account that needs to be enable.
